Welcome to the Grotenbreg Laboratory:

Our main research focus is on MHC-restricted antigen presentation, for which we aim to develop novel strategies for the identification and retrieval of cellular subsets from the immune system. Employing a unique blend of cross-disciplinary research that encompasses the use of organic synthesis, protein chemistry, mass spectrometry, and molecular and cellular biochemistry techniques, we explore the dynamic interplay between pathogen virulence and the host’s immune response.
