Research
Interests
-
Development of prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines for
prevention and treatment of asthma and allergic diseases. We
collaborate with Johns Hopkins University, USA, to develop
polymers for DNA delivery.

Studies of probiotics with focus on the host-bacteria
interactions, aiming at developing novel strategies for primary
prevention and treatment of allergy and inflammatory diseases.
Karolinska Institute , Sweden , is our main external
collaborator on this project.

Study of immunomodulatory proteins and their therapeutic
potentials in immunotherapy. We collaborate with Genomic
Institute Singapore on the structure-function studies of these
proteins.
